This high school was built in 1928 and has had a long history of serving the community. It has had a few remodels including the removal of the tower on the west side. During the outbreak, Tosa East was used as a shelter for those seeking shelter from the disease. Now it is used as a residential complex and the classrooms are used to house people. Some rooms have retained their original educational function. This building draws people as it is large and easily fortified, with all of the windows boarded up and with an interior courtyard used for growing food. |
